Bandit Six: Salvo

During my time at Climax Studios I also worked on the Samsung Gear VR title Bandit Six: Salvo.

The game is an arcade war shooter and makes use of the Gear VR gamepad as well as the VR look controls. The player will have to strategically configure, update and utilize different turrets on the battlefield against incoming waves of numerous different types of enemies on water, land and in the air.

On this project my responsibilities included:

  • design, prototyping and documentation of game mechanics
  • modelling of level layouts in Unity and Maya
  • design and scripting of enemy waves and level missions
  • basic UI and effects work
