Star Citizen

From February 2016 until June 2018 I worked at Cloud Imperium Game’s UK office in Wilmslow where I was a Senior Designer working on both ongoing projects: the persistent universe of Star Citizen and the single player campaign in Squadron 42.

My responsibilities on the games included:

  • mission design from the concept stage to implemented mission using an in-house scripting software as well as CryEngine’s/Lumberyard’s Flowgraph tool; including dialog, on-foot and vehicle-based combat as well as “sandbox” situations
  • building, improving and marking up gameplay spaces for use by players/NPCs
  • liaising with the (flight) AI team in order to provide fun and engaging space combat scenarios
  • build and script missions according to narrative provided by the game’s authors; this would include dialog, on-foot and vehicle-based combat as well as “sandbox” situations
